SECRETARIAT MAIN ACTIVITIES

·identification and capitalisation of the Preceup projects and approximately 50 other relevant experiences
·implementation of a research / capitalisation programme around three major themes: innovative urban practices, appropriate technologies, environmental education
·workshops on the research themes of the programme
·elaboration and publication of case studies and thematic booklets reflecting the results of the research
·production of a film for each project and a CD-ROM for the programme, and a film for the entire programme
·set up and maintenance of electronic conferences and an Internet site
·development of the programme databases
·elaboration of information products adapted to the needs of professionals and the public
·strengthening of links with international information exchange networks and specialised institutions working in the field of sustainable urban development (HIC, UNEP, Healthy Cities, UMP, DPH, IIED, Waste Consultants...).
