Title	Plan for the productive re-use of solid domstic wastes (PUPRSD)
Summary	The PUPRSD has been launched in ceveral cities in Argentina. It was the local authorities in each municipality who decided to participaate in the programme and initiate the selective recovery of solid domestic wastes and an awareness-raising campaign among the population The objectives of the plan are the following: to contribute to the reduction of environmental contamination through an adecuate management of wastes to raise the awareness of the population on environmental problems and to encourage their active participation in sorting wastes at the source. to train youths so that they take into account the sustainability of the ecosystem in their decisionmaking.
